We decided to try something totally different this week at Explorers and held a still life painting night. We set the scene with a table containing fruit, flowers and some accessories. Issues everyone with an A3 canvas paint board and shared out paints and brushes. The aim was to print wither the scene or part of the scene and to interpret this as they wished. As you can see from the paintings quite a mixed bunch of artists! But all held some resemblance to the scene set. An

Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme members had the opportunity on Monday evening to meet their D of E Assessor for their expedition planned for this weekend. They spent the evening going through routes and sorting out kit in preparation for their activities this weekend. We wish them every success in what is for most the final part of their Bronze Award.
