The Scouts and Explorers met for the first time today since early February at the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood in Heather. The day consisted of face masks, hand gel, anti bac wipes, walking, navigation, compass work, catching up, hand gel, masks and of course social distancing! It was great to get out again with the youth members and we even managed to validate some training for our newest Leader Megan.
Some of the Scouts and Explorers met up on Monday evening at Hinckley Wharf for a Kayaking session. This is the first time since lock down that any of the Group has met up and we hope the first of many outdoor activities to keep the youth members involved in Scouting. Once again Nick ran an excellent evening of activities and everyone got a really good soaking!
