Navigation Fun

The Cubs visited Fosse Meadows last night to finish-off the final requirements for the Navigator Staged Activity badge. This involved the following:

- Use a map during an outdoor activity - Go for a walk with a leader around the local area

We also learned how to show what direction a given compass bearing was, and gave bearings to various objects while on our walk. In addition we had some fun on the various obstacles around Fosse Meadows and met some very friendly cows!

Well done to all that have completed the badge - these are all good foundation skills ready for when they move-up to Scouts.
