Beavers Christmas Party

The Beavers definitely enjoyed themselves last night, as did the Beaver Leaders and helpers! Christmas music rocked through the building whilst traditional party games and a chip supper kept everyone entertained. It was strange to see the Beavers out of uniform and in their Christmas finery. There were some great Christmas jumpers on display and the festive spirit was definitely in the air.

Traditional Carol Service

All the member of the group and most of our parents joined together for our traditional Carol service at Holy Trinity Church. It was lovely to see the church so full and Simon once again presented an excellent service that was both meaningful and child friendly. We joined together to sing carols and remind each other of the meaning of Christmas. The service concluded with a number of awards being presented, a film show of our activities over the past few years and also goodbye presentations to the McOwat family. Christmas Crafts

In the run up to Christmas the whole group has taken part in Christmas craft evenings in the church. Christmas music, games and refreshments have also been part of the activities which has seen everyone getting into the "Christmas Spirit".
